|Recurring Events (See all)

An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Wednesday, repeating until February 21, 2018

- Free - $195

Three Sessions: February 7, 14, 21. Heaven-Hell-Hero; Mother-Maiden-Crone; Sun-Moon-Stars—these motifs, and hundreds of others, make up the Archetypes of the Collective Unconscious. C. G. Jung understood archetypes to be the original patterns or prototypes through which we comprehend all experience—lenses through which we perceive and make sense of the world and tell stories about it. In this class, we’ll enrich our reading and writing lives by learning how writers and artists use the Hero’s Journey and other archetypal motifs in literature, film, and visual art.
