These days, selling your book means talking about it—a lot! From cocktail party conversation to the query letter, from the pitch slam to 15 elevator floors with a literary agent—you have to be ready to tell your story quickly and effectively. How can you summarize your 50,000, or 80,000, or 100,000-word book in 30 seconds? In this workshop, you’ll learn how. We’ll practice talking about and writing about your book in one sentence, one paragraph, and one page, and discuss the particulars for each of those forms.
