Scene Study: Craft Essentials

April 11, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

- Free - $65

Using examples from published literary works, as well as writing exercises, we’ll examine the individual components of scene making—setting, action, dialogue, and manipulation of time—along with the ways these interact to create tension, subtext, momentum and dramatic impact. We will also discuss the similarities and the differences of scene function in different genres (e.g., fiction, creative nonfiction, and narrative nonfiction)
