Terrance Hayes: Community Conversation [Beautiful Truth Initiative]

As part of Charlotte Lit’s Beautiful Truth initiative, renowned poet Terrance Hayes will be here for two days of events.

On Saturday, February, from 2-4 pm, Terrance will lead a community conversation on sharing stories for social change. The event is free but very space-limited. Please request an invitation by sending an email to admin@charlottelit.org. We will get back to you as soon as we know if we have a seat available for you.

Terrance Hayes is the author of American Sonnets for My Past and Future Assassins, a finalist for the 2018 National Book Award in Poetry; To Float In The Space Between: Drawings and Essays in Conversation with Etheridge Knight; How to Be DrawnLighthead, which won the 2010 National Book Award for poetry; Muscular Music, which won the Kate Tufts Discovery Award; Hip Logic, winner of the 2001 National Poetry Series, and Wind in a Box. Artist-in-residence at New York University, Hayes currently resides in New York City.
